Sometimes the universe sends you down a different trail than you mapped out and you can either use your skills to navigate it or step off to the side. In a matter months, a career transition, completion of yoga teacher training, and a lot of internal soul searching gave way to Ignite Outside. I opted to use my skills to navigate this new trail and journey into the unknown.
I’m now venturing off on my own path, consulting with for-profit and nonprofit entities who have a passion for outdoor recreation. This might mean working on an inventory plan, strategic planning and development, grant writing, recreation development, and creating and leading workshops. There’s also room for event planning, yoga, mindfulness, and of course, travel and bikes.
Over the next few months, I’ll be completing a short term education contract and then venturing to Barcelona, Spain for a thirty-day coworking retreat. (As a side note, I’ll be traveling with Unsettled, and so far, I’m a big fan of their approach to life and work). After Spain, there’s a plan taking shape for backpacking in Croatia, a bike tour somewhere Europe, and quite possibly completing my next yoga teacher training.
I look forward to sharing my journey with you and helping others navigate their paths, in both vocations and avocations, along the way. Don’t hesitate to get in touch.
